A Property-Wide Evaluation
As opposed to the services associated with a plumber or an electrician, an EPC assessor will evaluate the energy efficiency of the entire property in question.
Every room is carefully examined including basements and lofts (if present). One of the most important metrics that this individual will gauge involves the insulation of the property.
Lower levels of thermal efficiency (such as single-glazed windows or a poorly insulated attic) will harm the overall EPC score, so it may be wise to upgrade these areas before the inspection takes place.
Appliances and Lighting
